electron

electrons busily composing our life
and decomposing our current body

we can’t really see electrons
just observe their residue
with microscopes constructed
from electrons

we leave no trace but ideas
all else is a mirage

fingers point – and the meaning
is in the pointing, not the finger

do electrons exist (are you positive?)
or are they just obscure tools to exchange ideas
through ideas which we have created

infinity is a trick
to make the scales
we have fabricated
appear to balance

it’s all appearance
don’t be negative
electrons are
.......not

simple pleasure

the snow outside is austere
the sky looms darkly
slowly, calmly I peel
away the tough skin
the scent fills the air
as I tear the flesh
my fingers feel the
pulp and sticky fluid
the taste is exquisite
gods fare no better
I can savor this
pleasure most any time
yet so many can not
share this bounty
the price is too high
for even one orange
it begins to rain
………. softly
